DMV’s new Oakridge office is now set to open for business on Tuesday, July 24. The new address is 47660 Highway 58. Initial opening date was July 10, but delays in telephone line installation has moved the opening back.

DMV closed its previous office at the Willamette Activity Center on Jan. 3 because of a roof leak in the building. DMV decided to move the office to a new permanent location in order to restore its services to the Oakridge area as soon as possible.

The Oakridge office is operated Tuesdays only by two DMV staff members – one each from the Eugene and Springfield DMV offices. They will continue to work at their primary office locations until the Oakridge DMV reopens.

Whenever people need DMV services, DMV recommends they first check http://www.oregondmv.com/. Customers may be able to complete DMV business online or find out how to prepare and make their DMV visit as efficient as possible. They also can find locations and business hours of all DMV offices.
