9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Wednesday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Thursday and Friday

Knowledge Test Hours

Your customer number must be called by 4:00 PM to take a test that day.

Note: No one is allowed to accompany a customer into the testing area while a knowledge test is being taken except for interpreters.

Drive Tests

Drive tests are given by appointment only. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call (541) 967-2014.

Note: If there is inclement weather, drive tests may be cancelled or traction devices may be required. Please check the Special Notices or confirm your drive test by calling the office.

Going North/South
  • From Northbound or Southbound I-5, take the Santiam Hwy (OR-20) exit (Exit 233).
  • Travel West on the Santiam Hwy (OR-20).
  • Turn LEFT (South) on Clay St.
  • Turn RIGHT into the Bi-Mart Plaza and look for the DMV office.
Going East
  • From Eastbound 9th Ave (OR-99), veer to the RIGHT past Geary St and follow the signs to the Santiam Hwy (OR-20).
  • The Santiam Hwy (OR-20) will become a divided road just past Burkhart St.
  • Continue on the Santiam Hwy (OR-20) for another block.
  • Just before Clay St, turn RIGHT (South) into the Bi-Mart Plaza and look for the DMV office.
Going West
  • From Westbound Pacific Blvd (OR-99), turn LEFT (South) on Columbus Blvd.
  • Continue South on Columbus Blvd for about 3 blocks, until it dead-ends at Santiam Hwy (OR-20).
  • Turn LEFT (East) on the Santiam Hwy (OR-20).
  • Turn RIGHT (South) into the Bi-Mart Plaza and look for the DMV office.
