Electronic Vehicle Registration (EVR)
EVR Services
Vehicle dealers can use the EVR service to enter title and registration transactions using a computer interface. The EVR process can make transactions quicker and easier for your dealership. EVR services are provided through private companies working on behalf of the State of Oregon.
There are many benefits to using the EVR service:
  • Instant and efficient remote titling and registering of vehicles sold through your dealership.
  • Reduce paperwork and errors through technology and support.
  • Access to current customer information.

Effective January 1, 2016, House Bill 2282 changed the fees that Oregon vehicle dealers can charge customers for processing DMV transactions. The maximum processing fees your dealership can charge a customer are:
  • $150 when using an EVR integrator
  • $115 when not using an EVR integrator
These fees cannot be charged if your dealership is not preparing the paperwork for the customer. Your
dealership has the option to negotiate these fees with the customer.
