| Grants Pass DMV to close temporarily for move |

The Grants Pass DMV field office will close its current location at the end of the business day on Thursday, Oct. 15. A new location has not yet been determined.
The Department of Administrative Services, which manages property rental and lease contracts for state agencies, is negotiating for potential new locations. The new site and reopening date will be announced once a contract is finalized.
"DMV regrets the inconvenience to Grants Pass residents," DMV Field Services Manager Stephanie Miles said. "We encourage customers to visit OregonDMV.com to see if they can do their business with us online or download forms and do it by mail."
For transactions that require people to visit DMV in person – such as driver license renewal – Grants Pass residents can use offices in nearby cities, such as Medford or Cave Junction. DMV office locations and business hours are listed at OregonDMV.com.
"To handle the additional customers at surrounding offices, DMV is temporarily deploying its Grants Pass staff to various DMV locations in the area to support the Grants Pass community," Miles said.
