LOCATION NOTICE: The North Salem DMV office and the DMV Headquarters Building are separate facilities located near each other in the North Salem area. Please do not send mail intended for DMV Headquarters to the North Salem DMV office. Instead, please send DMV Headquarters mail to:

From DMV Headquarters
- Travel West on Lana Ave.
- Westbound Lana Ave dead-ends at Portland Rd.
- Turn LEFT (South) on Portland Rd.
- Travel South on Portland Rd under the railroad overpass and proceed for another block.
- At the Pine St traffic signal, turn LEFT (West) into the DMV office parking lot.
- Limited or no parking is available for oversize and combination vehicles.
Going North
- From Northbound I-5, take the Pacific Highway East exit (Exit 258).
- At the end of the off-ramp, turn LEFT (South) on Portland Rd (OR-99).
- Continue South on Portland Rd (OR-99) for several blocks.
- Continue South past Lana Ave and under the railroad overpass, then proceed for another block.
- At the Pine St traffic signal, turn LEFT (East) into the DMV office parking lot.
- Limited or no parking is available for oversize and combination vehicles.
Going South
- From Southbound I-5, take the North Salem/Portland Rd/Fairgrounds exit (Exit 258).
- At the end of the off-ramp, turn RIGHT (South) on Portland Rd (OR-99).
- Continue South on Portland Rd (OR-99) for several blocks.
- Continue South past Lana Ave and under the railroad overpass, then proceed for another block.
- At the Pine St traffic signal, turn LEFT (East) into the DMV office parking lot.
- Limited or no parking is available for oversize and combination vehicles.
Going West
- Travel West on Silverton Rd through North Salem (you will pass Lana Ave on the right, the state fairgrounds on the left, and then 17th St on the left).
- As you approach Portland Rd, immediately after the train tracks, turn RIGHT (North) into the DMV parking lot (if you miss it, you can also turn RIGHT on Portland Rd and enter the parking lot on the right-hand side as you approach Pine St).
- The DMV office is located on the corner of Silverton Rd and Portland Rd.
- Limited or no parking is available for oversize and combination vehicles.
Going East
- Travel East on the Salem Dallas Highway (OR-22), which becomes Center St.
- Proceed across the Center St Bridge (over the Willamette River).
- Once over the bridge, turn LEFT (North) on Liberty St (do not take the Portland ramp off the bridge).
- Continue North on Liberty St until it dead-ends at Broadway St.
- Turn LEFT (North) on Broadway St.
- Travel North on Broadway St for several blocks.
- Turn RIGHT (East) on Pine St and proceed for several blocks.
- Eastbound Pine St dead-ends at Portland Rd.
- At the traffic signal when it dead-ends, proceed straight across the intersection into the DMV office parking lot.
- The DMV office is located on Portland Rd between Pine St and Silverton Rd.
- Limited or no parking is available for oversize and combination vehicles.
