The DMV Title & Registration Handbook covers most of the common transactions dealers will encounter. However, the handbook does not cover every procedure, rule or law that dealers are required to follow as a vehicle dealer, or as any other business entity. 
 
Applications that are accurate when submitted to DMV are processed more quickly. This handbook should help you, DMV, and our joint customers (the public) get transactions completed promptly.

Chapters F, G, O, R, and Cover Page were updated 05/01/13. A summary of changes is available.
