If you are not active duty military and are temporarily outside of Oregon and your driver license has been lost, stolen, mutilated, destroyed, or is about to expire, you may be eligible to renew or replace your driver license from out of state.

Is my out-of-state insurance valid in Oregon?
Your insurance is valid while you are visiting in Oregon as long as your premium is paid. You need to have proof of insurance in the vehicle. If you do not have proof and are stopped by law enforcement, they can cite you for driving uninsured or for failure to provide proof of insurance. If you are cited, you must prove to the court that you had insurance on the day the officer cited you or you will be subject to Oregon's financial responsibility law.

I am working in Oregon temporarily, so am I required to get an Oregon Driver License?
