DMV moving to new site March 1

DMV is moving to a new Grants Pass location at 162 NE Beacon Drive. The new site is expected to be ready by March 1.

Office hours will remain the same at 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except Wednesdays when the office is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

DMV will continue operating at its current location while the new office space is prepared for occupancy.

"We must close for one or two business days to move into the new office," DMV Field Services Group Manager Stephanie Miles said. "We will announce specific dates once the schedule is final. We don't want to disrupt service to the community any longer than necessary."

DMV encourages people to visit OregonDMV.com to make sure they are prepared before traveling to a DMV office. Many DMV services are available online or by mail.
