Office will close February 24 and reopen at new location March 1

The Enterprise DMV office will open its new service location at 200 W. North St. on March 1, 2010.

The current office will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24. DMV will take two days to prepare for the move and installation of equipment and supplies in the new building. The new Enterprise office will reopen to the public at 9 a.m. Monday, March 1.

Office hours will remain the same: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, closing for lunch each day from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

DMV is moving after 22 years at the old location, so it may take some time for residents to adjust. DMV has a seven-year lease with options to extend at the new location. This reflects the agency's long-term commitment to the community.

"DMV gained a strong collaborative partnership with Enterprise Mayor Irving E. Nuss Jr. and Enterprise City Commissioner Michele Young," DMV Field Services Manager Stephanie Miles said. "DMV was not given much notice to move our office, but it was accomplished because of the support given by the city of Enterprise."
