Customers urged to plan appointments around closure and memorial day weekend

The Tillamook DMV will be closed Thursday and Friday, May 26-27, for scheduled maintenance inside the office, as well as the following Monday, which is Memorial Day.

The Tillamook office, located at 308 Evergreen Drive, will reopen Tuesday, May 31, after Memorial Day. Because DMV offices tend to be busy just before and after holidays and other closures, DMV suggests customers try to plan their visits for before Wednesday, May 25, or after Tuesday, May 31.

People who need to visit a DMV in person on May 26 or 27 can find all DMV office locations and their hours of business at http://www.oregondmv.com/.

DMV also recommends that people check http://www.oregondmv.com/ before they go to a DMV office. Customers may be able to do their business online, and they can find out how to prepare and make their DMV visit as fast as possible.

The Tillamook DMV's business hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office is closed for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
