Coos Bay and Florence office closures

The Coos Bay and Florence DMV offices will be closed for a few days in June for scheduled maintenance inside the offices.

The Coos Bay DMV will be closed Tuesday, June 21, through Friday, June 24. It will reopen Monday, June 27. The Coos Bay office, located at 1155 S. Fifth St., is normally open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays except Wednesday, when it opens at 9 a.m.

The Florence office, located at 2056 Highway 101 N, will be closed Thursday, June 23. It will reopen Friday, June 24. The Florence office’s hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, closing for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

DMV offices tend to be busy on the days just before and after closures, so DMV suggests that customers try to plan their visits for before June 21 or after June 27, if possible.

Customers may be able to do their business online, and they can find out how to prepare and make their DMV visit as fast as possible.
