Office closed until at least Tuesday
The Junction City DMV office is closed until repairs can be made to the building. The office will remain closed until at least Tuesday, Dec. 6, and possibly longer.
DMV recommends that customers check http://www.oregondmv.com/ before they visit DMV for office hours and locations. The nearest alternative office is West Eugene, 2870 W. 10th Place.
The two employees from the Junction City office have been temporarily assigned to the office in West Eugene to serve additional customers resulting from the Junction City closure.
The Junction City office closed as a result of damage from a vehicle collision with the exterior of the building on Monday afternoon. There were no injuries to the driver, customers or DMV staff. The main reason for closure is to ensure the building structure is safe and secure for customers and staff members to conduct DMV business.
When people need DMV services, DMV recommends that they first check www.OregonDMV.com. Customers may be able to complete DMV business online or find out how to prepare and make their DMV visit as efficient as possible. They also can find locations and business hours of all DMV offices.
