If You Still Have the Oregon License Plates If you only registered (not titled) your vehicle in another state and you still have the Oregon plates:
- You can use the plates on the vehicle for the rest of the registration time left on the plates.
- When the plates expire, you can renew the registration.
If You No Longer Have the Oregon License Plates If you only registered (not titled) your vehicle in another state, but you do not have the Oregon plates:
- You can get replacement license plates. These plates will have the same expiration date as before.
- If the registration has expired, you must renew at the time of replacement.
