- Governance (Committees)

The standards committees report to and derive their authority from the Chief Engineer. The Chief Engineer has final approval authority for any decisions recommended by the standards committees.

The CAD Standards Committee

The CAD Standards Committee is a standing sub-committee of the Engineering Automation Steering Committee, defining and maintaining ODOT CAD standards. The CSC is a sub-committee of the Engineering Automation Steering Committee, and derives their authority from the EASC. The EASC has final approval authority for any decisions recommended by the CSC.
 
The CAD Standards Committee membership may change or rotate based on available resources and ODOT needs.

The OpenX Standards Committee

The OpenX Standards Committee is also a standing sub-committee of the Engineering Automation Steering Committee, defining and maintaining ODOT standards when using Bentley OpenRoads Designer, OpenSite Designer or OpenBridge Modeler.
 
The OpenX Standards Committee membership may change or rotate based on available resources and ODOT needs.
