Advanced Training for 3D Design

Training modules for roadway modeling techniques are provided here to assist designers in the production of detailed, complete models that are suitable for use of automated machine guidance.

Design Standards

The modules were developed to comply with Oregon Department of Transportation standards for InRoads / CAD. Accordingly, designers are expected to adhere to the standards established by the ODOT InRoads and CAD Standards committees.

Accessing Training

Each zip files contains all files needed for each training module. The manual for each training manual is also provided as a separate link for quick access.

Click on the module and select "Save As" to save the zip file to your computer.

Save the lab files to your computer.

Create a training folder on your computer to store the material. Be sure to save the material in an accessible location, as the initial download may default to a temporary internet file location.
