Active transportation gets a boost from reorganization at ODOT and streamlined programs

ODOT’s new Active Transportation Section is streamlining Oregon’s bicycle and pedestrian programs to invest scarce resources more strategically. With the new organizational structure, ODOT has combined the state Bicycle and Pedestrian Program and the Transportation Enhancement program into a single $20 million statewide solicitation for projects.
 
Highway construction to put thousands to work across Oregon
