(REX T. BARBER VETERANS MEMORIAL BRIDGE)
The new bridge spanning the scenic Crooked River Gorge in Central Oregon is a magnificent single span reinforced concrete deck arch situated just upstream from the historic 1926 Crooked River (High) Bridge and the 1911 Oregon Trunk Railroad Bridge. The new structure has been named the Rex T. Barber Veterans Memorial Bridge in memory of World War II fighter pilot, Rex Barber.
