Revisions and Updates
ODOT Hydraulics Manual revisions are summarized below:
(Completed June 7, 2006)
ODOT’s Geo-Environmental Engineering and Asset Management Unit has revised the Hydraulics Manual (2005 Edition). As of June 7, 2006, the revised manual is mandatory for ODOT Tech Centers, Consultants and others to use for design. The revised hydraulics manual consists of 18 chapters. 15 chapters are complete and available for reference and copying. The Three remaining chapters are under development. See below for additional information. The 2005 edition (parts 1 and 2) supersedes ODOT’s previous two hydraulics manuals. (The 1990 version of the Oregon Highway Division Hydraulics Manual, and the 1974 version of the manual, aka, Official Publication 74-3)
The new hydraulics manual (2005 Edition) is available below in electronic form. Orders for a paper manual can be submitted at this time and will be distributed when available. An invoice for payment will be mailed to purchaser under a separate cover. Orders should be made through ODOT’s Contractor Plans Office.
Note:
The cost to obtain a paper copy includes all eighteen chapters. Fifteen chapters will be included at time of purchase and Contractor Plans Office will forward the remaining three chapters when available.
When a paper copy has not been purchased through ODOT’s Contractor Plans Office and a copy has been downloaded off the internet site, it is the responsibility of the manual user to keep their copy updated. Downloadable updates will be posted on this website and revision distributions will be sent to ODOT staff and users that have purchased a paper copy through ODOT’s Contractor Plans Office.
