The Geo-Environmental Section is responsible for coordinating environmental regulatory compliance for all transportation improvement programs in the state which use federal funds. The section is also responsible for statewide practices, standards, training development and delivery, and asset management for geo, hydro, and environmental disciplines within ODOT.
We protect and are stewards of the public interest for a variety of natural and cultural resources. We bridge the natural resources and civil engineering disciplines while building dynamic partnerships for making vital decisions to protect our resources.
