Stormwater Management Program - Construction
Water Quality During Construction
Stormwater Photo
Construction projects pose a risk to water resources through erosion, in-water work, and spills of construction chemicals.  ODOT’s five Regions hold NPDES 1200-CA permits for the discharge of stormwater from constructions sites.  These permits cover all projects disturbing an acre or more of ground, and require the development and implementation of Erosion and Sediment Control plans and periodic inspections.  Details about the Erosion Control program and the Erosion and Sediment Control Manual can be found on the Erosion Control web page.
