Field Trip:
Take a boat tour of the Portland Harbor Superfund Site while representatives from Oregon Dept. Environmental Quality, Port of Portland, City of Portland and US EPA provide a historical background to the superfund site, point out upland sources and early remedial actions, discuss significant sites in the vicinity, discuss progress to date on remediation feasibility and source control, and discuss the implementation of low impact development in Portland. It should be a beautiful day to be out on the river. Boxed lunch provided. Sign-up required (see registration).
