The I-5 Wilsonville to Hayesville Interchange project is replacing the northbound and southbound bridges on I-5 over Hwy 51 at MP 282.25. Both of the bridges are being replaced as part of the statewide OTIA III Bridge Program. This project also includes 22 miles of interstate maintenance work on both the northbound and southbound lanes of I-5 between MP 259.10 and MP 281.33 and re-tensioning and repair of the existing cable guardrail between MP 259.10 and MP 281.33.
The bridge replacement work is scheduled to begin in July 2006 and be completed by July 2007. The Interstate Maintenance (paving) work is scheduled to begin in May 2007 and be completed by September 2007. All on-site contract work is to be completed by September 30, 2007 and all contract work completed by January 22, 2008.
This is the third corridor level Design-Build project on the Interstate 5 system.
