Road User Fee Task Force to Meet Feb. 1
The Oregon Road User Fee Task Force will meet Friday, Feb. 1, at the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol Street N.E., Salem. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in Room 122.
- Presentation: Metro Traffic Relief Options Study – Metro Council President Carl Hostica & Metro Program Supervisor Bridget Wieghart.
- Review of existing systems and studies of alternative transportation revenue mechanisms - Staff.
- Staff Report: Interactions with stakeholders on the RUFTF Process and the Framework for Analysis for New Transportation Finance Model.
- Task Force Discussion (with working lunch):
- Framework for Analysis of New Transportation Finance Model (principles, approaches, evaluation criteria).
- Evaluation of the study approaches presented.
- Identification of research items and data requirements – Technology Feasibility/ Discussion of consultation needs.
- Development of Public Outreach Model (presentations, timeline, involvement) – Staff.
