Road User Fee Task Force to Meet March 8
 
The Oregon Road User Fee Task Force will meet Friday, March 8, at the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol Street N.E., Salem. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in Room 122.
  • Presentation: Review of History, Nature and Condition of Oregon’s State Highway and County Road System (Judge Laura Pryor and Bill Penhollow, Association of Oregon Counties; Jim Whitty, RUFTF Administrator)
  • Presentation: Overview of Cost Responsibility Policy and Weight Mile Tax (John Merris, ODOT Policy Section Manager)
  • Presentation: Overview of Federal Trust Fund Taxes (David Cox, Oregon Division Administrator, Federal Highway Administration)
  • Task Force Discussion (with working lunch at noon):
    • Development and Adoption of RUFTF Mission Statement
    • Framework for Analysis of New Transportation Finance Model
    • Evaluation of Potential Revenue Sources
