Quality Assurance for Design has been redesigned and moved to this new location to provide a more clear and concise arrangement of program information.   We hope this new web page will better serve your needs.  The old site will remain on-line until all files and web pages have been moved.  At that time, visitors will be re-directed to this location.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

These discipline areas, as identified by the Quality Assurance Steering Team, include the following.

QA Steering Team
 
PURPOSE – The purpose of the Quality Assurance Steering Team (QAST) is to develop, promote and implement a statewide quality assurance program for design,
 
GOALS  
  1. Identify elements of a Project Design Quality Assurance Program
  2. Promote a better understanding of Design Quality Assurance
  3. Implement a Design Quality Assurance Program
  4. Evaluate Design Quality Assurance Program success and revise if needed

Quality Program Manual
 
The Quality Assurance Program Manager is currently working with the Quality Assurance Steering Team to revise the Quality Program Manual.  Plans for the new Quality Program Manual involve three sections as follows.
  1. Quality Program Overview
  2. ODOT Quality Plans for Identified Discipline Areas
  3. Quality Resources

Quality Control Checklists
The first checklist is sorted by project development phase. The other one is sorted by technical discipline. Checklists are an effective part of  a Quality Control Plan. (Note:  These are read-only documents)

The Quality Assurance Program for Design (Quality Program) is located within the Office of Project Letting in ODOT’s Technical Services Traffic-Roadway Section.
