Region 4 Program and Planning Unit has two areas of responsibility for providing transportation projects within the Region.
Programming includes producing Region 4’s portion of the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), managing the Local Agency Program, and providing Intergovernmental Agreements (IGAs ).
Planning provides both long-term planning of future transportation facilities and current or short-term planning activities associated with ODOT´s project development and delivery. Planning also works with local jurisdictions to coordinate land development and transportation.
Region 4 encompasses all of Deschutes, Jefferson, Crook, Lake, Klamath, Wasco, Sherman, and Gilliam counties, as well as portions of Morrow, Wheeler, Harney, Jackson, and Grant counties.
