Highway Access Management
Program Overview
 
Access Management is a broad set of techniques that balance the need to provide efficient, safe and timely travel throughout the state, with the ability to allow access to the individual destination. Proper implementation of Access Management techniques should guarantee reduced congestion, reduced accident rates, less need for highway widening, conservation of energy, and reduced air pollution.
 
Access to State highways is the managed by three District offices within Region 4 Map. The following contacts can assist you with highway access issues.
