Process Overview
The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and the City of Bend have been preparing a refinement plan for the south end of the Parkway between Powers Road and the Baker Road interchange for the last 2.5 years.
The plan’s purpose is to remove the last three signals on the Parkway (Powers Road, Pinebrook, and South Third) while accommodating east-west connectivity.
Once ODOT and the City have completed the refinement plan, ODOT and the City will work to amend the City’s Transportation System Plan to include the improvements identified in the refinement plan.
An overview of the planning goals and accomplishments to date is available in a PowerPoint® presentation. The presentation is available in a print version to preserve ink, and a presentation version to enhance viewing.
