The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) has been hard at work on the central and northern portions of the Interstate 205 corridor, concentrating efforts on improving roadway safety by maintaining and preserving our existing system. The paving, repair and upgrades to the section from Oregon City to the Columbia River will be completed by the end of this year.
The work on this section consists of two phases:
Phase 1, I-205 from Oregon City to Harold Street, in Portland completed summer 2005. Visit the Phase 1 Web site.
Phase 2, I-205 from Harold Street to the Columbia River, work will be completed summer 2006.
Visit the Phase 2 Web site.
