Project Schedule
Construction: December 2016 through Fall 2017.

Traffic Impacts During Construction
Anticipated traffic impacts during construction will include night time single lane closures in each direction.  While lane closures will only occur at night, median and shoulder work can take place during the day.

 Barrier Types

ODOT is installing either guard rail, concrete barrier and cable barrier) that will be installed, each dependent on specific site conditions.  Cable barrier, however, will make up the majority of the installation.  Cable median barrier has proven effective across the nation, and here in Oregon, at reducing the number and severity of crossover crashes.  It is considered a cost-effective barrier with a construction cost of approximately $15 per foot, compared to $80 per foot for concrete barrier.
