*Schedules are subject to change due to weather and site conditions.

No work will take place between Friday, September 4 at noon and Monday, September 7 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Interstate 205 at Southeast Strawberry Lane

Project Description: When the OR 224 Sunrise Corridor Project is finished, over-height freight loads will no longer be able to use 82nd Drive (the designated Oversized Freight Route). To accommodate over-height truck loads on I-205 instead, ODOT will increase the overhead vertical clearance of the Southeast Strawberry Lane overcrossing structure from 17 feet 2 inches to 18 feet 8 inches. ODOT will also seismically retrofit the structure.

Traffic Impacts: Travelers should expect detours as Southeast Strawberry Lane is currently closed between Southeast Cason Road and 82nd Drive. Detour signs are in place. The multi-use path located under Southeast Strawberry Lane has been detoured to nearby streets.

The completion date for this project has changed; contractors are expected to be done with their work in October 2015 (schedule is subject to change). The Strawberry Lane overcrossing structure will remain closed until roadway and bridge restoration work is complete and the road can be re-opened safely.
