May 2 - 9, 2015*

*Schedules are subject to change due to weather and site conditions.

Oregon Highway 224 at Southeast 135th Avenue

Project Description: The project will improve safety at the intersection of Oregon Highway 224 and Southeast 135th Avenue by replacing the traffic light poles, adding left turn signals for vehicles traveling from Southeast 135th Avenue to OR 224, and adding street lights. The project will also build a new bus pullout east of the intersection, a new sidewalk along the south side of OR 224, after removing the hedge next to the soundwall, and sidewalk ramps on the corners.

Traffic Impacts: Travelers should expect shoulder closures on OR 224 and SE 135th Avenue as crews construct new sidewalk and ADA ramps at the corners and other assorted work. Work is weather dependent.

Pedestrians and Bus Riders: TriMet bus stop #30 and #156 are located within the project limits. Go to TriMet.org to see schedule or bus stop location changes or call 503-238-7433.
