E. Burnside (milepost 14.2) to the west city limits of Sandy (milepost 22.5)
-
S.E. Luzon Lane (milepost 26.3) to S.E. Cherryville Drive (milepost 30.4), with the exception of one-half mile near Shorty's Corner
-
Re-pave and stripe the Highway 212 (Clackamas-Boring Highway) ramps to and from U.S. 26.
-

| Project Timeline |
|
ODOT awarded the construction contract to Knife River Construction in July 2010. Construction took place over two seasons. The first construction season began August 23, 2010 and wrapped up in fall 2010. Work during the second construction season began in April 2011 and was completed in August 2011.
Traffic Impacts
During construction, ODOT expects that there will be intermittent single lane closures on U.S. 26 with flaggers controlling traffic at signalized intersections. In addition, there will be full nighttime closures of the Highway 212 on- and off-ramps; however, ODOT will not close both ramps at the same time.
Both daytime and nighttime work will take place. Your home or business may be near enough to the project for the nighttime work to be audible. However, noise levels dissipate quickly as distance from the source increases. The paving operation is continually moving which means noise will not be concentrated in one particular area for any significant length of time.
To report noise issues requiring immediate attention during nighttime hours only, please call (503) 412-2378.
For questions or comments during regular business hours, please use the contact information at the bottom of this page.
To learn about traffic impacts during construction, read the weekly construction news, which is updated every Friday.
