U.S. 101: 12th Street - Farmer Creek Rd (Tillamook)
Overview
The purpose of this project is to resurface the asphalt by overlaying new asphalt onto the existing road surface and adding four vehicle pull-out locations.

The safety pull-out locations will be constructed between Beaver and Hebo, two northbound and two southbound. These pull-outs would reduce congestion and unsafe passing situations by enabling slow moving vehicles to pull over and let vehicles pass.

The bridge approaches for Prairie Creek (MP 68.45), Anderson Creek (MP 68.67) and Fawcett Creek (MP 71.18) will be rebuilt up to 200 feet. Rebuilding bridge approaches creates a smoother transition from the road to the bridge reducing bumps and uneven elevation where the roadway and bridge meet.

The project has been awarded to Mainline Paving out of McMinnville.

Public Involvement
The project is scheduled for construction in Summer/Fall 2009.

Please check our weekly construction updates for more information during the construction period.

Sections of single lane restriction may be encountered during construction and nighttime paving may be used to reduce impacts to summer travel.
