The purpose of this project is to identify ways to improve safety at existing U.S. 101 intersections, improve connections across U.S. 101 and connectivity within Bay City, and provide safe routes for bicyclists and pedestrians.

| Project Objectives |
|
The Bay City Transportation Refinement Plan will:
- Identify ways to maintain local and regional through traffic mobility along the highway
- Identify improvements for safe intersections with U.S. 101
- Look at the circulation needs of the community
- Consider potential future road connections to serve future development
- Analyze potential bicyclist and pedestrian improvements
- Provide quality documentation to acquire funding for identified projects
