The project team is relying on an involved community to help with critical questions. This plan will design new crossings of U.S. 101, funding strategies, construction priorities, and establish a traffic-calming program. Give us your input!

Public Workshop No. 1: Presentation of Transportation Alternatives
Wednesday February 25, 2009 5:30 p.m. City Hall (5525 B Street, Bay City)
This workshop will let you review and comment on identified existing problems as well as suggest needs that haven’t been identified yet. You can also see some proposed solutions or alternatives for U.S. 101 intersections, the local street system, and the local pedestrian and bicycle system.

Public Workshop No. 2: Recommended Transportation Improvements, Development Code Amendments and Plan Amendments
Wednesday April 8, 2009 5:30 p.m. City Hall (5525 B Street, Bay City)
This workshop will give you an opportunity to review the recommended design solutions, local street system improvements, local pedestrian/bicycle system improvements, development code amendments, local plan amendments and funding mechanisms. This meeting will focus on well-defined project recommendations based off of the first public workshop’s recommendations and the project team’s technical recommendations.

Public Hearing for Planning Commission consideration of Planning Commission endorsement of Bay City Transportation Plan for City adoption.
City Council Work Session
Monday May 11, 2009 5:15 p.m. City Hall (5525 B Street, Bay City)
City Council Work Sessions do not include public hearings but are open to the public. City Council will receive a presentation of the Bay City Transportation Plan with an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments.
