This ARRA federal stimulus funded project includes paving, striping and other highway preservation work on Oregon 22 (Willamina-Salem Highway) from Oregon 99W (Pacific Highway West) to the Salem Bridges. The contractor will also repair a bridge deck just west of the Salem bridges on Oregon 22.
McMinnville contractor Oregon Mainline Paving, LLC, was the low bidder for the $6.6 million project.
Current Status
Work began in late August 2009, paving has been completed and work has stopped for the winter. The contractor will install permanent striping in spring 2010. Road work will take place at night, from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Weekly construction updates are available while work is ongoing.
