Lane reduction planned for two nights next week at OR22/OR99W intersection for bridge work
01/20/2006
RICKREALL—The Oregon Department of Transportation will reduce OR 22 to one lane in each direction for two nights on Jan. 24 and 25 at the intersection of OR22 and OR99W to allow a contractor to install bridge beams for the OR99W structure.  The work is part of the Rickreall Junction Interchange Project.

Between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, the traffic will be channelized into one lane in each direction.  Motorists should expect minor delays due to increased congestion at the intersection of OR99W and OR 22.

In addition, the eastbound OR223 (Dallas-Rickreall Highway) traffic wishing to travel eastbound on OR22 will be detoured on to Rickreall Road, to OR99W, and back to OR22.

Motorists should anticipate a major shift of traffic on OR22, as well as flagging personnel controlling traffic at the intersections of OR22 and OR99W, Dallas-Rickreall Highway and Rickreall Road, and Rickreall Road and OR99W.

Motorists should slow down and proceed cautiously through the construction zone.
