Three Mile Lane Bridge work requires overnight detour
05/11/2009
MCMINNVILLE - An Oregon Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crew will work on the Three Mile Lane Bridge approaches (transition from asphalt road surface to concrete bridge deck) from May 11 through May 14.

The bridge will be closed to northbound traffic overnight from 8:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. Northbound traffic will be detoured overnight along Oregon 18 (Salmon River Highway) to Oregon 99W (Pacific Highway West) onto SW Baker Street. Southbound traffic may see minor delays with intermittent, temporary closures to move equipment as needed.

The work will smooth the rough transition from the roadway to the bridge, reducing the force transmitted and the associated wear and tear on the bridge’s wooden support structure.
