Paving work requires rest area closures

SPRINGFIELD—The Oregon Department of Transportation will be working on two paving projects in the Springfield/Eugene area along Interstate 5 during the week of Aug. 20. The projects will require over night closures to the rest areas.
 
  • Oak Grove Rest Area southbound near mile post 206 will be closed from 6:00 p.m. on Monday, Aug 20. and will re-open at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21. 
  • Gettings Creek Rest Area northbound near mile post 178 will be closed from 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug 21. and will re-open at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22.
