ODOT Region 2 | Nov. 15, 2009 | 11-314-R2 | For Immediate Release Adam Torgerson, Public Information Officer, (503) 986-2880 ODOT cancels open house Tonight's Astoria-Megler Painting Project open house to be rescheduled ASTORIA – Because of concerns about weather and the potential for travel delays, ODOT will reschedule the Astoria-Megler Bridge Painting Project open house scheduled tonight at the Three Cups Coffee House from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. More information will be forthcoming as the meeting is rescheduled, however interested people may still visit www.meglerbridge.com for information about the bridge painting project. The National Weather Service has issued both high wind and high-surf warnings for this evening. With such high winds, drivers should watch for fallen trees or limbs and be sure to visit www.TripCheck.com to make sure routes are clear.
