| ODOT to close I-5 southbound ramp to westbound Beltline beginning Monday night | ||

SPRINGFIELD – Beginning late Monday, Dec. 10, the Oregon Department of Transportation will close the southbound Interstate 5 ramp to westbound Beltline Highway to remove unneeded support structures from under the flyover bridge. The ramp closures, from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., will continue nightly through early Friday morning. The vertical and horizontal beams were used to support the portion of the flyover above Beltline and the ramp during initial construction. Motorists needing to access westbound Beltline from southbound I-5 during the closure periods should take Interstate 105 west to Delta Highway, then take Delta north of Beltline. The project is scheduled to be completed by Nov. 30, 2008. ##ODOT##
