ODOT crews focus efforts on U.S. 30

U.S. 26, Oregon 6, Oregon 22, Oregon 18 and Oregon 130 will remain closed overnight as darkness and falling trees are creating unsafe conditions. Crews in northwest Oregon will focus efforts on keeping U.S. 30 open.

Remaining closed overnight:
U.S. 26, multiple locations (between Seaside and Willamette Valley)
Oregon 6, mile points 4 – 49 (between Tillamook and Willamette Valley)
Oregon 22, mile points 10 – 23 (southeast of Hebo)
Oregon 18, mile points 13 – 21 (eight miles west of Grand Ronde)
Oregon 130, mile points 6.5 – 9 (three miles west of Junction with Oregon 22)

Reports of trees down on Oregon 214, near Silver Falls State Park, are creating intermittent closures.

If traveling tonight, carry chains and be prepared to use them. Bring extra food, supplies and warm clothing. See ODOT’s Web site for more information on being ready to travel in winter conditions - if travel is necessary. ODOT advises drivers to avoid driving if possible.
