| Truck crash closes I-5 north in Eugene |

SPRINGFIELD – A semi truck hauling a trailer full of bread dough crashed into the Centennial Boulevard overpass of Interstate 5 in Eugene-Springfield at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday, closing all northbound lanes of the freeway.
The crash also caused the truck to spill about 200 gallons of diesel fuel onto the freeway.
Oregon State Police and ODOT incident responders are on scene, and hazardous materials crews are enroute.
The freeway is expected to be closed for several hours. Motorists should use alternate routes.
