Highway 6 lane closures for road repairs
05/14/2008
Expect lane closures with 24-hour flagging, pilot cars on Highway 6 from May 19-23

The Oregon Department of Transportation plans to begin work on Monday, May 19, to repair Highway 6 (Wilson River Highway) at the site of 11 sunken grades near the summit. The work, which includes grinding and paving each of the sunken grades, is scheduled to be completed on Friday, May 23.

All of the repair locations are between mile posts 33 and 36 on Highway 6 – about 1 mile east of the Tillamook County/Washington County line and about 13 miles west of Banks.

Motorists traveling through the area will encounter single-lane closures with flaggers and pilot cars on site around-the-clock to help traffic safely move through the area. Delays should be less than 15 minutes. ODOT thanks motorists for driving cautiously through the work zone.
This work is weather dependent.
