| ODOT to close Beltline ramps at Coburg Road Sunday morning | ||

SPRINGFIELD — ODOT maintenance crews will alternately close the westbound and eastbound Beltline offramps to Coburg Road early Sunday morning to replace illumination lamps at the interchange. Crews will begin work at 5:30 a.m. and close the westbound Beltline offramp to Coburg. Once the lamps have been replaced on north end of the interchange, workers will close the eastbound Beltline offramp to Coburg Road and change out the lamps on the south side. Once the ramp illumination lamps have been replaced, the crew will close both lanes of eastbound Beltline to replace lamps above Coburg Road. During the closure of eastbound Beltline, traffic will be detoured to the eastbound Coburg Road offramp, and then sent across Coburg to the eastbound Beltline onramp and back onto the highway. Crews will use a large boom crane to change out the lamps on the 120-foot-high illumination towers. All work will be completed by noon. ODOT asks motorists to use caution as they approach the work area and be prepared for slowing traffic. # # ODOT # #
