Highway 214 road work planned near Silverton
SILVERTON— Oregon Department of Transportation crews will be cleaning ditches, working on a rock bank and repairing barrier on Highway 214 just south of Silverton from Tuesday, February 22 to Thursday, February 24.
One way traffic will be flagged through the area. Freight and commercial traffic will not be detoured and will be flagged along with other vehicles. Motorists should expect minor delays.
Crews plan on cleaning the ditch of rock and work on the bluff that has been eroding because of heavy rains during the winter. In addition, crews will repair the barrier that was damaged by a crash last spring.
