New Youngs Bay Bridge will not close on Wednesday, March 9 as previously scheduled
ASTORIA— The New Youngs Bay Bridge (U.S. 101) in Astoria will be not be closed overnight on Wednesday, March 9 as announced earlier. ODOT will perform a bridge inspection at a later time.
Variable message signs will be posted in key locations instructing motorists that the closure has been cancelled.
Built in 1974, New Youngs Bay Bridge carries approximately 14,000 vehicles from Warrenton to Astoria each day.
