Note: Weather has forced cancellation of a pump repair. The rest area will not close.
SPRINGFIELD — The Oregon Department of Transportation will NOT close the Gettings Creek Rest Area on Interstate 5, between Cottage Grove and Creswell on Thursday, April 1, as planned, to allow a contractor to replace a fresh water well pump and holding tank.
The rest area, located at I-5, milepost 178, will NOT be closed from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 1.
ODOT will notify the public when a new schedule is decided.
