Open house scheduled in Manzanita June 17
The Oregon Department of Transportation is holding an open house on Thursday, June 17 to review and discuss the U.S. 101: Manzanita Avenue-Neahkahnie Creek highway project. The open house will be held at the Pine Grove Community Center, 123 Laneda Ave in Manzanita from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. with a summary presentation at 6:30 p.m.
The project includes replacing a failing fish passage culvert under U.S. 101 and proposed safety improvements at Laneda and Manzanita Avenues. ODOT staff will be on hand to explain the details and benefits of the project, answer questions on how construction will be staged, options for routing traffic, construction schedule, and the length of time needed to complete the work.
